Ellyse Perry managed to hold her nerve in the middle as she parried through the Delhi attack to register another half-century in the tournament guiding her side to 150 runs on the board in the designated 20 overs.

While fans expected Delhi to run away with the game, Bangalore gave their all picking wickets at regular intervals to stay alive in the game. None of the Delhi Capitals could leave a mark on the game. Meg Lanning stands tall in the first position in the WPL Orange Cap standings and shows no signs of stopping. Despite a bad season for her franchise Ellyse Perry has been consistent with the bat and has moved into second place with 195 runs to her name. Alyssa Healy has dropped by a spot and is now positioned in 3rd place. Meg Lanning’s batting partner Shafali Verma occupies fourth place with 179 runs while Hayley Matthews continues to be a part of the top 5 with the all-rounder positioned in 5th place.

Saika Ishaque continues to be on the top of the WPL Purple Cap standings with 12 wickets to her name. Shikha Pandey who picked up three wickets against Bangalore is now in the second spot, followed by Sophie Ecclestone who has dropped to third place. Hayley Matthews too has dropped by a spot and is now in 4th place while Tara Norris bagged a single wicket to move up to the 5th place with 7 wickets so far in the WPL.
