UP-W vs MI-W: WATCH – Saika Ishaque Strikes Once Again As Dangerous Tahlia McGrath And Alyssa Healy Depart In The Same Over

The 10th game of the ongoing Women’s Premier League once again saw the domination of young Indian spin maestro Saika Ishaque as the bowler single-handedly pulled the momentum of the game away from UP Warriorz by dismissing both Tahlia McGrath and Alyssa Healy in a single over.

Saika Ishaque was once again the star of the show with the ball for Mumbai Indians Women as the bowler picked up three wickets for her side and emerged as the top wicket-taker in the innings with Amelia Kerr contributing 2 wickets to the cause that saw UP-W finish their innings with just 159 runs on the board in their designated 20 overs.

UP Warriorz had a rough start as Saika Ishaque started things off by dismissing Devika Vaidya in the powerplay to give the opposition a setback. Tahlia McGrath and Alyssa Healy had a great partnership for the third wicket as they tried to get the game back on track, but Ishaque struck in the 17th over getting them both in a single over.

Skipper Alyssa Healy was first as she tried to play the reverse sweep on a tad flatter delivery but completely missed the ball as it crashed onto her pads. Mumbai had a loud shout as the umpire raised the finger. While Healy did try to review the decision, it was pretty evident she was plumb in front of the stumps.

With the taste of a wicket, Saika Ishaque struck once again in the same over, this time it was Tahlia McGrath as she tried to step out of her crease and take on the bowler but missed the ball completely as the keeper dislodged the bails.

With just a target of 160 runs to chase in the game, Mumbai Indians Women will be dancing their chances to bag their fourth consecutive win in the tournament.
