We Have A Very Good Overall Bowling Unit – Mohammed Shami
Mohammed Shami believes that India had a good bowling attack in both red-ball and white-ball cricket despite the absence of Jasprit Bumrah.
“It has been a long time since Bumrah has not been playing. It is our hard luck that he is not there. But we have a very good overall bowling unit for both white and red balls. We support each other a great deal,” Shami said in the post-match press conference.

We Try To Bowl As Tight As Possible – Mohammed Shami
Shami praised Siraj for his confidence, which is important for other bowlers to do well in partnerships. The 32-year-old said that bowlers needed to keep their lines and lengths tight in the match to keep pressure on batters.
“Siraj has been playing for a while, he has the confidence. It is important to see how well the other bowler is doing when bowling in partnerships. We try to bowl as tight as possible, keeping the ball in specific patches. As a senior bowler you have to lead the way,” Shami added.
Mohammed Shami and Mohammed Siraj bowled well in the match and took three wickets each. The two pacers ran through the Australian middle order and played a big role in the collapse from 129/2 to 188/10.
