In the Main Event WBC USA and WBO International Super Middleweight champion Diego ”C4” Pacheco defending and stopped tough Marcelo “El Terrible” Coceres in the ninth rounds final seconds on Saturday night at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California.

In the co-feature WBA World Super Bantamweight Mayerlin “La Monita” Rivas was upset by majority decision to the former WBA Featherweight champ and current WBA Continental Americas champion Erika “Dinamita” Cruz.
In the Main Event WBC USA and WBO Int’l Super Middleweight champ Diego “C4” Pacheco 20-0 (17), #167, of L.A., CA, stopped Marcelo “El Terrible” Coceres, 32-6-1 (18), #167, of Bueno Aires, ARG, at 2:53 of round nine of a scheduled 10 rounds.
In the first round the 6’04” Pacheco the taller of the two used and effective jab to keep Coceres from mounting any offense. In the second round’s final seconds Pacheco landed a right to the chin of Coceres.
In the third round after a minute Coceres finally got a right on the chin of Pacheco. Pacheco came back with a right of his own on the top of the head of Coceres.
In the fourth round Pacheco landed a right uppercut to the ducking Coceres a minute into the round. Coceres never stopped coming forward trying to get inside of the Pacheco jab.
In the fifth round a frustrated Coceres never stopped trying. Pacheco just had too much reach on him. In the sixth rounds final seconds it was Coceres landing a solid left hook to the chin of Pacheco.
In the seventh rounds final minute a clash of hears caused blood from the lower lip of Pacheco. Pacheco used the jab but rarely threw the right. In the eighth round with half a minute remaining Pacheco landed four punches having Coceres hurt.
In the ninth rounds final twenty seconds a Pacheco landed a right, left and right uppercut on the chin dropped Coceres who took the count from Referee Ray Corona on his knee.
In the co-feature WBA World Super Bantam champ Mayerlin “La Monita” Rivas, 17-5-3 (11), #121 ¾, of Maricairo, VZ, lost by majority decision to southpaw and former WBA Feather champ and current WBA Continental Americas champ Erika “Dinamita” Cruz, 17-2 (3), #122, of Mexico City, MEX, over 10×2 rounds.
Halfway through the second round a Rivas left hook drove Cruz around into the ropes. In the third rounds final seconds a clash of heads caused a cut below the right eye of Rivas. In the fourth round Cruz landed an overhand right to the jaw of Rivas in the final minute of the round.
At the end of the fifth round Cruz had Rivas pinned into a corner at the bell. In the sixth round again it ended the same with Cruz driving Rivas into a corner at the bell. In the seventh rounds closing seconds Cruz was countered with a Rivas right but came back and had Rivas holding on. In the eighth rounds final seconds both were landing punches at the bell.
In the ninth round Cruz landed the cleaner shots in a solid round. In the tenth and final round Cruz who has had a good second half of the fight may have re-won a title in a close fight. Referee was Gerard White.
Scores were 95-95, 98-92 and 97-93 and 96-94 KH.
Former Olympian and WBA Super Fly champ Khalid “Kal” Yafai, 27-2 (15), #117 ½, of Birmingham, UK, was stopped by Jonathan “Torres” Rodriguez, 17-1-1 (7), #118, of Bethlehem, PA, at 2:17 of the first round of a scheduled 10 rounds for the vacant WBA Inter-Continental Bantam title.
In the first rounds opening minute Rodrigues landed a right knocking Yafai to the canvas for a 8-count from Referee Thomas Taylor. In the final minutes of the round a right on the body from Rodriguez and down went Yafai again for an 8-count. Rodriguez was all over Yafai when referee Taylor wisely called a halt.
Super Feather Marco Castro, 11-0 (8) #131 ½, of Fresno, CA, stopped Gonzalo “Maravillla” Fuenzalida, 12-3 (3), #132 ¾, of Santiago de Chile, Chile and Las Vegas, NV, at 2:31 of the seventh round of a scheduled 10 rounds.
For three rounds Castro was dishing out punishment to Fuenzalida who kept coming forward. In the fourth and fifth rounds Castro continued landing pin point rights to the chin of Fuenzalida with little return.
In the sixth rounds final minute a right from Castro rocked but didn’t stop the gutsy Fuenzalida from coming forward. In the seventh round Referee Ray Corona saw enough with punch after punch from Castro not all landing but little if nothing coming back from Fuenzalida forcing referee Corona to call a halt.
Super Featherweight Jalan “Sky” Walker, 12-0-1 (10), #131 ¼, of Los Angeles, CA, stopped Jorge Alberto Villegas, 14-2 (13), #131 ½, of Los Mochis, Sinaloa, MEX, at 2:55 of the second round of a scheduled 8 rounds.
In the second round Referee Gerald White called a halt as Walker was defenseless but standing.
Lightweight southpaw Criztec Bazaldua, 3-0 (1), #136 ½, of Los Angeles, CA, stopped southpaw Pedro “Zurdo” Angel Cruz, 3-4 (0), #138 ¾, of San Jose, CA, at 0:46 of the fourth and final rounds
In the fourth round Referee Thomas Taylor called a halt while Cruz was defenseless.
